The Foundation is now offering memberships to the organization so that many more people in our community can participate in helping to improve the community for our residents.

The Gilroy Foundation was established in 1980 to help meet the growing needs of our community in the areas of health, education, recreation, culture, and civic services. Governed by a board of 12 local community leaders and with support of a Board of Advisors, the Gilroy Foundation has been building an Endowment Fund over the years, which is considered our community’s savings account. The Fund is now over $6 million.

Since 1982 over $1.2 million in grants and scholarships has been awarded to local nonprofits and students, helping to fill the many needs of this community. Unfortunately, many needs, just as deserving, still cannot be met each year, so continued contributions to the Foundation are essential. In the past, the endowment has grown from personal donations and from fundraisers such as the annual "A Day in the Country" auction. Now, offering memberships will allow more of the community to become part of helping to ensure the future of Gilroy.

We hope you will consider joining our membership at one of the following levels:

Silver Circle $100-$499:

Member will be sent our newsletters. Member will be recognized on our website and event programs.

Gold Circle $500-$999:

Platinum Circle $1000 and up:

Member will receive all of the above benefits as well as an invitation to the Holiday Party.

We will be honored to have you contribute to building our community savings account, helping to meet the needs of, and enriching, OUR community.
