Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 6, 2008. Please join us at our 19th annual

" A Day in the Country" where you can spend "An Evening with the Rat Pack".

This year we will be at the beautiful San Juan Oaks Golf & Country Club. Not only will

there be dinner and dancing with a live band, you will also be able to bid on various items

at our silent and live auctions. To start the night off right you can taste a variety of

exquisite wines from local vintners.

• Our Annual Meeting and Grants Presentation was held on April 30, 2008, at the beautiful
  
  home of John and Lee Blaettler. This year the Gilroy Foundation gave out over $27,000
  
  to 15 organizations through our competitive grants program!

• Our Designated Grants program gave out $134,180 to 17 local organizations. This is the
  
  most money we have ever donated since the Foundation began in 1980. It was such an
  
  amazing night.

• Our Donar Advised Grants gave $4,500 to 6 local organizations. An additional $80,000
  
  in scholarships will be awarded this spring.
